A trip overseas garnered this shot of similar food throwing behavior. This person is clearly interested in feeding the birds though - having broken the bread up into smaller bits.

Food in more than one location!

My food throwing neighbors had me take care of their cats while they were away. When I went over I discovered that they also throw food out their side door! I stopped in my tracks and laughed out loud to see their Lilac festooned in sliced bread.

Rye bread

Back in September the remainder of an egg salad sandwich and perhaps a brownie? made their appearance. Maybe it's brown bread instead of a brownie.

Bread again.

A breakfast muffin - lemon or cornbread perhaps?

Pattern

I'm starting to see a pattern here...... They wake up early, clean out the kitchen and throw bread onto the street in the morning. Today's choice, cornbread.

Ahhh, a smorgasbord of hamburger buns. The Sparrows and Chickadees rejoice.

What the heck!

Hey! Either someone thinks they are really funny or there is a crow out there with very good aim. I don't need no bun in my planter!

Bread!

Another day, another batch of bread. This time some moldy evidence and perhaps a justification for their disposal?

Tire tracks or sneaker tracks?

We were waiting with anticipation that there would be a new crop of thrown food this past Sunday since the neighbors had a bunch of family over for the day. We were disappointed as the day went on and nothing appeared. BUT... today we have some more bread - and the question - is it a tire track or a sneaker imprint on this lovely piece of oatmeal bread?

Sliced bread makes it's debut...

This weekend, while I was away, my husband thoughtfully documented the neighbor's disposal of some unwanted bread. I am sure this will be one of many bread posts.

The Sandwich Bun
